I grew up in Portland, Oregon. I attended Portland State University, where I received a bachelors degree in psychology, graduating with high honors.
In 2002, I began law school at Lewis & Clark Law School. Throughout college and law school, I worked full time in the Portland legal community. I spent five years working at the Oregon Law Institute, where I supported Assistant Dean Elizabeth Stephens in organizing continuing legal education seminars for local professionals. This afforded me the opportunity to work with well-respected attorneys and judges and solidified my love of the law.Read More

Allyssa comes to Jill Brittle Family Law Group with a strong legal background. A lawyer herself, licensed in Illinois, she returned to Oregon (where she grew up) with the goal of working in a firm that focuses on conflict resolution. With post-JD certificate in alternative dispute resolution, and a certification as a mediator from the Center for Conflict Resolution, Allyssa brings her strong background of collaboration to the firm. She has also worked as a Case Manager for the Oregon Department of Justice in the Child Support Division, which gives her important insight into our client’s child support needs. Allyssa works with the attorneys in the firm to support client needs and helps the whole office run smoothly.
The history of Jill Brittle Family Law Group P.C. is deeply rooted in Oregon. After law school, Jill Brittle and Adam Brittle joined Adam’s Father (Timothy Brittle) to create West Valley Law Group PC in Corvallis, Oregon. Although the firm represented clients in all types of cases, Jill’s focus was on family law and elder law, and Adam focused on criminal law. When Tim Brittle retired from the practice of law, Jill and Adam relocated the firm to Portland as Brittle & Brittle, P.C. offering the same services to the tri-county area. In 2017, when Adam moved on to pursue development of a software project, the firm again changed names. As the firm moves forward under the new name, with Jill at the helm, we are devoted solely to representing families and individuals in family law cases as they navigate the legal system.
