Support Staff

The staff at Jill Brittle Family Law Group are essential members of our team. They provide logistical support to the attorneys and also act as the front line for answering questions from new and potential clients. We utilize their skills to keep client costs lower and to facilitate efficient responses to clients.

Gwen Montgomery – Director of Operations

Gwen grew up in southern Oregon and came to Portland for school. She graduated from PSU and went on to work in Education, Property Management and Human Resources. She loves working with people, creative problem solving and team building. In our office she collaborates with the team to give clients the best possible experience with Jill Brittle Family Law. She enjoys helping our clients find the best fit of an attorney in her role as Client Intake Specialist. When not working, Gwen loves to travel far and wide, hike at the Oregon Coast with her two puppies and is still searching for the perfect charcuterie board.

Sierra Peck – Lead Paralegal

Sierra was raised in southern Oregon and went to Oregon State University for Psychology. She used her plethora of free time during the COVID lockdown to go to Portland Community College and get an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. Having previously worked in a personal injury firm and with a background in medical insurance billing, Sierra has cultivated a levelheaded and meticulous approach to problem-solving. She loves the opportunity to help people and is always looking for chances to learn more. Outside of the office, Sierra enjoys West Coast Swing dancing, playing games with friends, reading, and spending time with her fiancé and their two pets.

Rachel Mayea Aluart – Paralegal

Rachel was born and raised in Cuba, spent her youth in Miami, and then relocated to Portland as a college student. After graduating from Portland State University, she earned two B.A degrees in Art History and Arts & Letters. Rachel’s prior professional background includes working as a paralegal in a high-volume personal injury firm. Rachel is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is passionate about details, helping people, and advocating for non-English speakers. After work hours, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her husband and young daughter, trying many of Portland’s food trucks, and going to see her favorite artists in concert.
